Well, I had this elaborate plan to build foam base boards with fox holes, paint the downed trees and longs and paint shell craters into the foam, but then realized I only had 24 hours before our cat came home after we got home from vacation. So I had to work fast and furious and simply used white poster board for the snow covered ground. This is my entire collection of Bulge figures. I thoroughly enjoyed putting them all up. The only safe space from the cat on most days is in the garage.
