Came home this evening after being away for most of the week and found the superb 'Western Front Companion' by Mark Adkin awaiting me. This large book is packed with all things Western Front and if it's half as good as his Gettysburg volume it's going to be an enjoyable read:salute::

I have his "Trafalgar Companion", "Waterloo Companion" and "Gettysburg Companion". All great books! Didn't know about this one? I will have to pick it up as well. Thanks for the heads-up!

Hey Rob, just got my copy today. A quick flip through says it's a winner. Gotta love this series. I really want to get the Trafalgar book. Great stuff. -- Al
