In my brief time looking and collecting K&C, I've done everything online. However, last week I had to go to Cincinnati with my family and was able to convince my wife to let me drive to The History Store, one of the K&C dealers in Ohio to see them in person. While collecting ACW now, I had thought of doing WWII secondary. The two WWII dios in the window did not disappoint. However, once inside, I got my first close up view of the Napoleonics and was immediately won over, especially with the cavalry figures. I was also impressed with the American Revolution figures, specifically with the American militia and the Indians. I found that the WWII figures slipped a little bit. Then I get to check the forum again and see the two dios Major Tom posted of the French attack and the British defense and I'm totally won over. Napoleon and his cohorts claim another victim.

Cheers:

Was Ed there or were the "ladies" working the place? Does he still have some older sets on hand? What did you end up getting as I trust you did not leave empty handed.

Glad to hear you are interested in the Napoleonic period. It is rather captivating. K&C has some nice Napoleonics but before you commit you might want to glance at the following threads and go to the related website. These figures are amazing and they just keep getting better.;)

No matter what you chose, it is a great period to collect.

You are a very wise man to want to collect Napoleonics ! :D

But, then again - some people think I am bias ? ;)
