Decided to pull the trigger on some newer sets. Haven't bought any new releases in over a year now as I've been focussing on other hobbies and building up my collection of older figures to fill in gaps in dioramas.

Got the New Market Garden sets minus Vandeleur's Arnoured car and the map and generals set, so looking forward to comparing these with the older sets!

Thanks to my good American friend George sorting them out for me for a great price!

Yes, I've been doing the same, looking out for older K&C Napoleonic figures, and keeping a lookout when retirements are listed so i can get them before they go onto the 2nd hand market.

I'm also finding some older 'battle damage' figures, that may have been 'played with' at a cheaper price, many without boxes and so I'm doing restorations to being them back to life and join the rest of their regiments in my collection :)

Nice one mate! Sometimes I feel that when I've managed to find a few older figures or sets for a decent price it makes spending quite a bit on newer sets feel a bit less painful of that makes sense hahs!
