Great display ! I see you still don't have any takers on the King & Country 16th dragoons  and even after you dressed them up in the First legion Artillery Redoubt. But I'm sure you did very well in total sales . Congrads on a Great show

Thank you for your comments; a gentleman bought the entire batch of dragoons on Sunday, he was very happy with them. I sold the redoubt to one of the forum members as well..................

good display george.
and the one with the Honour bound soviets admiring the First Legion Stug cracks me up a bit.:p

Wow George, that's a lot of stuff to setup and display. Everything looks very cool. Such a wide array of figures, layouts, and buildings, customers must have been having heart palpitations when they went in there.....

How long does it take you to set all this stuff up?! I can only imagine that it must be at least 8 hours for the figures and terrain and then another 4 hours writing up all of those "Do Not Touch" signs. :D You better keep it to only 2 rooms and not get three least you develop carpal tunnel. :D:D:D:D

May I ask why they decided to paint the bases so light in color? I saw these in person at the show and as you can see from these pics if you place them on a street dio they really stand out oddly....and even in the factory dio the base is so light, almost like a sand color, that the great figures look "toyish". If they were going for a muddy, rubble appeal I feel that a darker shade could have been used for more realism.

Well I assume you are talking about the Stalingrad figures since the Napoleonic bases work just fine for spring or fall mixed grass fields. If you look at Frank's great photos of the Stalingrad series it would seem to me that their bases also fit nicely into the factory rubble environment. They actually look amazingly real.

We had a nurse on hand if anyone felt dizzy or light headed after seeing the rooms and the displays..........:D

I took me 8 hours to haul all the merchandise upstairs and set up the displays.

And the signs worked out very well; not a single figure damaged and none "left the room without being paid for" if you catch my drift.

It was pretty comical though when one customer reached out and picked up a Russian Hussar BY THE PLUME.......... and the lance fell off, he though he broke the figure.

The look on his face was priceless........

George your work ethic is very impressive, I hope it rewards you :)

Thanks for the kind comments; I love what I do for a living, I hope it shows.

Will you be able to attend the Burlington Toy Soldier Show on the 25th?

Great, look forward to meeting you; I hope this move works out, it's been in Dedham for ages and I am not sure how well the move will go over, guess I'll find out soon enough..........
