There is a company from China selling resin copies of some of FL Vietnam GI's.on ebay. They say they are 1-35 scale. The picture on the listing is exactly the same as FL,s picture. These are kits which must be assembled and painted. Since I collect 1-32 plastic I would be interested but I'm afraid if these were true 1-35 scale they would be to small. Does anyone know how they would be able to copy the origionals and then convert them to a resin kit? Just for the record I have FL Vietnam figures that this company is selling, I want these to supplement my plastic figures.

I think I have understood your email correctly in which case, might I suggest that you await First Legion’s confirmation that these are authorised copies of their figures?

If they are not I would suggest that you don’t buy them as clearly those items would then represent a theft of First Legion’s IP even though they are manufactured in a different medium altogether.

It’s competitive business for manufacturers as it is.

Per the FL website they have released plastic 1/32 unpainted figures in the past and their figures are made in China. Figures made in China by any manufacturer tend to turn up on the secondary market.

I just went to FL,s site and sure enough they have the resin kits for sale. So these are not unauthorized copies.
