Gary is absolutely correct :wink2:
It might sound weird to a newcomer, but when roaming the rooms, most likely any Toy Soldier enthusiast will get overwhelmed by what's on display and offered.
Then, of course, most of us don't want to jump on the first attractive set they see, because there are so many more rooms to check.
You have to carry a little notebook and write down room number, set you saw, price, etc.
Because only minutes later you will see so many more, and you will lose track.
The confusing design of the floor layouts doesn't really help to return to previously seen rooms ^&grin
I walked a whole lot of hallways for nothing at previous shows, just to get back to the one room I wanted to visit again.
But the main thing is, and that's what makes the Chicago Show so extremely attractive.
For 3 or 4 days, it's nothing but Toy Soldiers :smile2:
Collectors, Manufacturers, Dealers, they are all there. You walk the hallways and people are talking Toy Soldiers.
You meet at the bar at night and all people (or most of them on this weekend) are involved with Toy Soldiers in some way.
When you're a collector, who every now and then gets a friendly "Okay" from your friends when talking about the Hobby, or a kind "Alright" from your wife when a new package came in, because in the area you are living, there is just no one around who has anything to do with Toy Soldiers, then you will find the Chicago experience quite unique :wink2: ^&grin
It's a one of a kind, no kidding.
Cheers!
