Kevin pulled the book because Hans and I noticed he spelled both our names wrong:eek: . . . it should be back up shortly:eek::p:D

Will you give us a hint, when it comes back on? Thanks!

Well, I finished proofing the "elite 8" copy that I purchased, and I found a grand total of 5 mistakes, which will all be corrected before the book goes back on line. One was a real potential disaster: on the back cover of the dust jacket we spelled ANDY'S LAST NAME WRONG!!!!:eek::eek::eek:

To answer your question, once we are sure we fixed all the errors, the book will go back on. This volume covers all the glossy and the first few sets of matt WWII. One of the later volumes mentioned in the book will center on all K&C's non-WWII glossy figures from 1984 through 1996.:cool::cool::cool:

The Volume I of the book is back on sale

Kevin and I (mostly Kevin, as the text is written, and needs only to be further editted) are working on another Volume (II or III), which will cover all the other (non-WWII) Glossy figures K&C ever produced, from when it opened its doors in June, 1984 until it stopped glossy production in 1996.

Anybody who wants to participate in the photo shoot for the next two volumes of the K&C book, Kevin and I will be doing the shoot between May 1st and May 14th at my home in Roslyn Harbor, New York. We will be moving the figures, aircraft vehicles, buildings and dioramas down from the museum to my backyard, playing "art director" and setting up scenes for the shoot, and then Kevin will work his magic. Last summer Brad Lewin, Tim Tyler, Hans Hedrich, Kevin and myself (among other participants) had a blast taking most of the photos in volume I. PM me if you are interested in coming out for a day or two and helping in the shoot.
