Very nice figure . You can turn this figure into a Belgian soldier (1915-1916 onwards) just by changing the exploding grenade on his helmet into a lion's head. That's what I will do
I will venture for the first time into the 1st WW that's for sure because I know there is more to come!!!!!!!
guy :)

Now this is the sort of figures that all the makers should be doing for the next four years! plus artillery, horse drawn and static, trucks and staff cars, and behind the lines figures eg; playing cards, shaving, sleeping and all that type of stuff. Good on TG for the small start, much more is needed by the rest...you only get one 'one hundred year' anniversary.
Wayne.

Tom my friend prepare for my incoming credit card! He looks fantastic! Am I right in thinking he might be Verdun-ian?! I am so in, any chance he'll be in London in March?? Man 2014 is going to be a cracking year for WW1 at this rate!:salute::

Al is going to just love this one!^&grin

To those who are wondering, this Poilu dates to late 1917, or 1918, by virtue of the ARS gas mask. -- Al

Yep this figure along with a few of others will be there in London on the Maison Militaire stand. There should be something like 12 new WW1 figures including some cavalry at the show!
Regards Vicki

Forgot to add this, that ARS stands for Appareil Respiratoire Special (Special Respiratory Apparel). -- Al

Nice to see the French getting a look in in the various WWI releases. Would go nicely with John Jenkins's French tanks or, even better, perhaps TG might fancy doing a Renault FT tank as part of this new range.

Cant wait to see this figures comrades! So good to see TG will be joining all those other producers in WW1 this year, very excuted to see what Tom has up is sleeve for this year:salute::
