Today we're having a game using Jaye Wiley's Fistful of Lead rules tickled up a bit for WW2. In the Emporium the KISS principle has been invoked when doing something as complicated as rule tinkering...

Stens/Schmeissers are treat like shotguns

Brens/MG42s are same range as rifles but with +2 at close +1 at long

Rifles... are rifles with a +1 in HtoH for having a bayonet.

Grenades are treat as chucking a stick of dynamite

There you see the KISS principle applied in all it's convoluted complexity!

The game will have a British spy (Odette) hiding from enemy patrols, one led by Sergeant Steiner, the other by Captain Stransky. Herr Flick of the Gestapo will appear at some point, fresh from torturing Odette's exact location from her luckless comrade, he will be most eager to pass on this information to Captain Stransky. All is not lost for our heroine as Lieutenant Harry Faversham, late of the Grenadier Guards, now with the Commandos, and his elite band of cut-throats will be coming to her rescue!
The game is taking place with big boys toys... 1/32 scale Britains Deetail figures, and assorted bits and bobs.

Herr Flick, not my crap foto skills, he really is a shady character! Odette is hiding in the Airfix ruined cottage...

Odette uses her skills and training to convince Sergeant Steiner's patrol, she's a simple peasant girl, looking for the family bible in her ruined cottage. Captain Stransky's patrol moves through the hedgerows...

The years have not been kind to Odette.....

A great idea here! I remember some of those Britains farm pieces from my distant youth.
