FIW Collection (1 Viewer)

I have seen several of the Jacobite/ Scottish figures. If you are looking for any- check stockade miniatures (google). Mike has several sets still.

Ken,
I understand what your saying but those hats look more AWI than FIW ,to me anyway and I'm far from an expert.

Marco,

Doh me!! Your right, the hats on the Royal Roussilon are a tad different than a "standard" tricorn hat. I never noticed it before, but that form of hat appears to be right.

Check the Seven Years War Website. At the bottom of this page, under French Regiments, several links to pages from Military Uniforms in Canada (1981, by Summers and Chartrand). About 5 or 6 regiments are illustrated.

Very attractive drawings with a short write-up first on the history of the regiment and then on the actual uniforms.

The Regiment Bearn page should be this link:

And the Languedoc Regiment (High Snazzy):

I really love the french sets, i just wish they would liven the color up a bit on the british figures. They seem dulled down.
