I just recieved my first Frontline set and as Randy said they match up very well with Jenkins.I got the set with Montcalm and I have a set of Marines coming when they get back in stock. My question is that I heard that earlier sets were smaller.Does anybody know which sets are smaller?I am going to get a few more sets especially the Indians and I don't want to get the smaller sets. Thanks
Mark

Hey Mark, I had bought some of the Frontline figures too in hopes of extending the FIW collection and found them to be fine scale-wise. The only thing I noticed was proportion. Frontline are much thinner than Jenkins - less squat - although Jenkins sets are getting taller over time. Let me know how your collecting goes. I've looked for a few options now. Conte actually makes some pretty good indians and they fit well with Jenkins. I can sell you a set or trade cheaply if you want to try one out? King and Country indians didn't match at all and the paint seems way glossier. Find any other manufacturers let me know.

Cheers, ssorc1

Hey Mark I almost forgot I have a set of marines, IFW6 - Rousillon Royal Regiment - 2 kneeling firing, 1 loading if you want it? Cheers, ssorc1

Hi Mike,
I'm not collecting anything right now as I'm getting some historical kits painted in the next few months.I had some Conte sets and they do fit very well.I'm not really into Frontline.I've heard scuttlebutt that Britains may put out some FIW matte figures in 2009.If they make them 54mm they may fit in with my historical kits.

Hey Mark, Britains matte would be good if they are like the recent Zulu stuff. I've also started a few kits, some great ones out there. I wish someone would put out a great series of kit figures so that you could create multiple poses, like a Historex or Preiser for the FIW. Something in scale with the other makers as well. Love to see the work when it is done? Cheers, michael
