Dear Andy

There are rumors that K & C will stop making the FJ (Fallschimjagers) series?
Is that true.

Kind regards Harrie

Andy mentioned there were no plans for more FJ's in the very near future, however it doesn't mean we won't see any in the future.

That question was specifically asked in Chicago by Hawkeye but Andy quickly shot it down. I don't think we will be seeing anymore FJs anytime soon.

I do not understand this, how many of the K & C WWII collectors will buy Fallschirmjäger for Normandy.
I think a lot.

I have already ordered the three new sets of Thomas Gunn.

I think that is part of the problem, Thomas Gunn is turning out some excellent FJs at the moment, both in Normandy and Tropical schemes, so why saturate the market? As noted in the other thread I think this, combined with the last release being a fair amount of repaints that sold slowly, may have contributed to the decision to give the FJs a rest. Original sculpts and/or Normandy or Bulge FJs would likely have sold better at the time, as the Thomas Gunn releases only started back in the summer.

That said, I just received a batch of the newly retired K&C FJs, and they are top notch as usual. :)
