Hello,

I am thinking about collecting these and maybe just sticking to the AWI. Those of you who have these figure already....what do you think about them? Myself I really like the Continental Militia/Minutemen men.

I have a few and think they are well done and offer a good variety of period clothing and show the different social strata the rebels came from. The only one I wouldn't get is the one I think looks like Mel Gibson.

You can't go wrong with this range, my bias aside! They are the best as far as variety of dress and pose, which are all very accurate historically. Also, like most all FL releases, you won't find a larger group of militia out there without having to repeat individual purchases. Overall, I think this series is tops if you want the AWI.

Terry, what's wrong with that one? He is a favorite of mine (the figure, not the actor).^&grin

Jagdpanther, one other thing real quick. As you know, FL has thier very impressive and extensive line of Napoleonics. However, I find that trying to keep up with all the releases I would want out of that range is too daunting a task. The AWI range, with its much slower pace of releases, is more suited to my budget. Don't know if that is a concern for you, but something to consider.

I don,t collect this particular war, but IMO they are the best figures of the two new releases (eras) from FL.
