Hey Guys,

I had a question as to which version of the flag raising you like more, the newer or retired one? Also, why do you like whichever one better?

I want to get one of them, but I can't make up my mind as to which I like more.

For some reason I like the older one better. I do not like the look of the flag in the newer version.

Good, I,ve got the older one and did not get the newer one.
Anyone know the thinking on releasing a second version?

What release are you referring to? Do you mean a third issue of the flag since 2 are already out.

I was wondering since K&C issued the first flag raising with the first set of Marines, why issue it again with his second set of Marines.
There basicly is only one flag raising pose and the first one was fine in my books, why not use the time and energy to do something different.
That,s kinda how I feel about K&C doing another Custer set. No doubt the figures will be better, but as you know sometimes the older figures don,t quite mesh with the newer ones.
Having said the above, soon as a Custer set is officially announced I will pre order it. I,m a slave to K&C.

I am not sure why he went back to do it again except that he wanted to update the Iwo Jima line and hopefully start selling more items in that series. The first series was a slow seller.

I think the rest of the sets are great but just do not have an appeal for the new Flag Raising set.

If he made a new custer series I would also be buying. There isn't much I don't have in K&C and would not hesitate to buy if they made it. Most of the redos is just bringing up to date what was made in the past and getting it to todays standards. I'm sure there are a lot of people that would buy the new stuff instead of the old.

Enough with the Tigers! K&C has done five different wooden versions and four different polystone versions (three different bodies in wood and in poly, plus different paint schemes). Andy's already said he's doing another Wittman Tiger, so the tenth K&C tiger is on its way. Could we please move along to another German armored vehicle? How about one he's never done, like a Sturmtiger or a Jagtiger or a Nashorn? I have no room to display more Tigers!

Another bloody Sherman!! Lets see, six different wooden Shermans (3 different bodies, each with 2 paint schemes), and four different polystone versions (including the winter Iwo Sherman), so there are already 10 different K&C Shermans. Enough please, how about one of the many other Allied armored vehicles listed on this website? Please, no more Shermans!
