That improvisation brings up a great point about collecting. Once your own collection gets an abundance of sets its easy and fun to create all kinds of interesting combinations. This diorama is a great case in point in bringing together the new and old to create something extraordinary. Getting those old pieces out and playing with them can really breath new life into them. I've noticed over the years that K&C adverts and dioramas do this all the time.

Cheers for the comments guys. It would have been a shame to leave this new flak 41 crewless when I have some figures that could go alongside it nicely. That's the beauty of having a good K&C collection to be able to mix and match some great figures and vehicles/guns.
It's also a lot like just playing toy soldiers!
