Hoping to find out who may have made these flat "2-D" soldiers.

In my neck of the woods, they're less common that the BMC, or Timmee Toys fully-fashioned 3-D style army men.

Any idea who made these, and when? Are they still being made?

As I know, currently produced in Mexico, copies, I assume.
