For my friends up North...the most wanted "man toy" this year... (1 Viewer)

Hilarious.

It might work in Texas but it wouldn't stand a chance up here. The ones up here are 1:1 scale or bigger. They come in pairs and the big one is 2:1 scale ^&grin Now that's a man-toy.

After I saw that video a few weeks ago, I actually looked into building one. The cost ended up that it would be too much (and not sure my technologic knowhow was up to par either!)

There's a commercial product in there somewhere - trying to get out! jb

Bromhead, I have a combat veteran friend who served with the Big Red 1 in 1968/1969. He was from the island of Molokai. By any chance, were you there during that period? BTW, that car reminds me of an Opel, but I'm sure its probably something way more expensive.

I served March 66-67,,,its a cobra Daytona replica,,turnkey is about 100K ,,Ironic one of the companies in my Bn had a rather large Hawaiian Pltn Sgt.

Bromhead, thanks for the reply. My friend speaks fondly and proudly of his fellow soldiers, but have not contacted them in many years. He would be very satisfied to know they're okay. I just thought, by some miracle, you might have known him. He was a squad level Sgt and his stories about the combat, gear, patrols, B-52s, agent orange, r & r, going home, is more interesting than any book I've read about Vietnam. I'm sure you have equal experiences. I respect him immensely despite his standoffish, grouchy exterior. He's actually nice at heart. Anyway, thanks again.
