BIG RAF SALE. (USAF and Luftwaffe coming soon)

Everything here is in as-new condition with boxes unlosess otherwise noted.

All prices on the planes, vehicles and the scenic piece include shipping to the U.S. U.S. Shipping is also included on buying more than one figure. As far as I know, you can't get these items anywhere cheaper, including ebay.

Even so, I'm willing to entertain lower offers if you buy multiple pieces. If interested please e-mail me at marksable (at) aol (dot) com.

POLYSTONE WARBIRDS:

RAF007 Hawker Hurricane MK 1 (UFK Version) - $175
RAF016 Supermarine Spitfire Mk. 1 RETIRED Limited to 750 (RETAIL $185) - $175
RAF030 Hawker Typhoon Mk 1B with Tear Drop Canopy lmited to 500 sets RETIRED (RETAIL $369) - $350

SCENIC:

RAF014 RAF Nissen Hut/USAF Quonset Hut - NEVER DISPLAYED - RETIRED - (RETAIL $109) - $95

VEHICLES:

RAF015 Austin K2 Airfield Ambulance - RETIRED, LIMITED TO ONLY 250 PIECES - $175
RAF026 Austin Light Utility Vehicle - RETIRED LIMITED TO ONLY 250 PIECES - $150

FIGURES:

RAF031 Rocket Primers (2 figures - RETAIL $77) $65
RAF032 The Rocket Handler (RETAIL $39) $30
RAF033 Sitting Airman (DAMAGED - missing an arm. Will throw in free if you want with any other purchase). $15
RAF034 Airman Radio Operator - (RETAIL $32) $25

I have some more individual figures from the early days of the new RAF line a few years ago, but I can't find the boxes right now. I will list them when I can.

Although I'm selling a lot of pieces, I'm far from a professional seller (not that there's anything wrong with that). I've just accumulated too many pieces than my space can accommodate (particularly the boxes). Still, I think anyone I've ever bought from or sold anything to on here will attest to my honesty and reasonableness, and I've got a 100% positve rating on ebay (under marksable22).

1 item SOLD (Quonset Hut).

PRICE REDUCTIONS ON EVERYTHING ELSE (between $25 and $50 less on vehicles, $10-15 on figures). I'll also be willing to entertain offers for less if you buy multiple items.

Ordered RAF016 Spitfire and was invoiced for it. But received RAF007 instead. Very disappointed.. No further help offered to figure what went wrong.

Since everything sold except the JG Miniatures Nissen Hut Facade, someone else also received an incorrect set.....your RAF016.

Keep your lines of communication open. How many times have you written to him ?

Raymond :)

At least twice... First reply was a sorry. No more reply after that. I agree that someone had received the Spitfire and kept it. Otherwise, it could be a genuine mistake in packing since the email trail below says Hurricane and RAF034 sold. I bought the RAF034 as well. It was all based on email and paypal invoice listing RAF016 and RAF034.

He replied so he is aware of the problem. Give him the benefit of the doubt, as he may be trying to resolve the matter with the recipient of your RAF016.

If he does not revert again within a reasonable period of time, then go to PayPal. Keep in mind the transaction date on the PayPal invoice. You have 45 days (if I recall correctly) to file a claim with PayPal.

Solid advice Raymond! Chris, hang in there! I have had many transactions with Mark stemming over multiple years. My experience has been nothing short of perfect each and every time. Like Raymond said, keep the COMMS open and give him a little time. Thanks for reading.

Regards,
Marc

Hi Marc and Raymond,

Thanks for all the good advice.

Mark has responded and we have worked out a solution. Yes, we had a double booking for the Spitfire unfortunately. Just too bad I got hit by the hurricane. So, it was really a spit fire situation.. Lol. :)

Thks,Chris

First - thanks to Beaufighter for vouching for me and glossman for being so reasonable.

As Chris said, the issue was resolved. I sent him the wrong plane, I offered him a refund and he accepted.

I'm not a professional seller. I am just someone who has to thin their collection for financial and space reasons. I'm not perfect, but if I make a mistake I'm always willing to do whatever it takes to make the buyer satisfied in the end. I would like to think anyone I've dealt on here would say that.

I am disappointed this had to be aired publicly though. I thought the rules said "Do not, however post complaints, flames or derogatory comments about other buyers or sellers on this forum. Oftentimes a simple misunderstanding between a buyer and a seller can occur. If one party begins posting a one-sided play-by-play of the transaction, especially before the situation has been resolved, much damage to the other party's reputation can be done. It is extremely difficult to "undo" this damage after the fact." I guess this section is being moderated the way I expected it to.

Don't get me wrong, I'm very grateful to TF for the forums as well as being a great dealer, and I can only imagine how hard it must be to police all the different forums. But I feel as if some damage to my reputation has already been done, and that saddens me. My good name is worth a great deal more to me than money or toy soldiers.

EDIT: And if anyone who has dealt with me that has any issues, please feel free to contact me privately and I promise to resolve them.
