Just curious. Checked out the forum on mine and it's pretty much useless.

The Forum works fine on my IPhone.

Also - if a smart phone had trouble displaying a webpage - there's not anything you can do with the phone to make the page display better.. The problem is with the webpage. If you notice, many companies are now creating mobile versions of their websites for better viewing on phones... then with all the different types of smartphones there are going to be some won't display certain pages as well.

An example of problematic webpages on the IPhone would be any site that using Flash animations - they won't display, because Apple doesn't support that format..

Hope this helps.

Great to know Rob. ATT has pitiful service in my area but I have wanted one of these since they came out. Typical Apple move to go exclusive initially with the carrier with the worst service network. Now when they add Verizon they will be sold out for months.

I never have understood why the iPhone is so popular. The droid allows multitasking, has Flash 10.1, has a superior camera, superior navigation, and doesn't drop your calls when you hold it.

I have used a friends IPhone and found it just so intuitive to use. My sister-in-law has a Droid and she had to go to a class to be able to use it. I seldom (almost never) use my phone's camera and the call dropping is simply a matter of using a case as I understand it. I heard they were fixing that on the Verizon one anyway. I don't know about the superior navigation, the IPhone's seemed pretty good to me.

I don't have a smartphone, just a plain old BB, but if I have to go to a class to learn how to use one, thanks, but no thanks.

I think the integration of the cell phone and camera is one of the greatest matches ever. I use mine all the time for my business. Just take the picture and email to my vendors or customers. I hate carrying a camera when I'm on vacation, and seldom ever took pictures. I was in Vegas a few weeks ago and visited Hoover Dam. My Droid does take nice pictures and it's always handy.

Well the better they get, I am sure the more that will be true. According to the PC World review, the difference in the cameras between the two is not as great as the megapixels suggest. In the end, I think it just is a matter of which one feels better to you. I have had Motorola phones since their first flip phone and I am no fan of Apple but the Iphone just seems quite nice. Maybe I will see how hard the Droid is to use.

I have a samsung intercept using android. the forum comes up tiny

My Droid X is good for web surfing when I am away from my computer. It is a bit slower and smaller, but I can use my cell phone as a wireless router for my lap top, watch Netflick's downloads of movies and TV shows, send email, and phone home. If only it could cook.

Bill, must say I love it. I'm a bit of a technophobe and to me its brilliant. Simple to use, easy navigation, great for music and tv shows etc. The apps available are superb and internet speed is pretty quick. I've gone from someone who only viewed their phone as something to make calls from to a position where I couldn't be without it. Music,tv,Internet, emails etc,its all good Bill!:)
