For any one who lives around Rhode Island, Fort Adams in Newport has a cival war weekend going on today and tomorrow with a small renactment and the fort is open for tours.
I took my daughter there today and we had a great time. The tour of the fort is very intresting. Its the biggest civil war era fort in the USA. A great day out for the family if your in the area. Here are a few photos from the fort today.
