Outstanding News -- Very Happy ^&grin,^&grin,^&grin,^&grin,^&grin:

My Guess on the British Artillery at the Time of the Siege:

2 - 32 Pounders Iron (4,600 - 5,000 pounds)
2 - 18 pounders Iron (5,850 - 5,950 pounds)
3 - 12 pounders (1 Iron, 2 Brass)
5 - 9 pounders Iron
4 - 6 pounders Brass
4 - 4 pounders Iron
1 - 7-inch Howitzer
4 - Mortars (Least 7.0 Inch)

25 pieces plus 17- Swivel Guns

Sometime during the previous 9 months, 12 Pieces of Artillery had been re-assigned to Fort Edward including the removal of 6 - 18 pounders, 2 Howitzers and 4 Large Mortars including a 13-inch ---- 2 9-pounders were added.

Mark,

Any links to this book? Totally struck out on my searches on the Osprey site.

Thanks

I had read about it on Osprey's website a couple of months ago when they had an article about upcoming 2013 titles.I got the picture from Amazon who has it on for preorder.

I have been there twice as a younger lad. Definately a great place to visit if you have the chance. Fort Ticonderoga is another good one ! :salute::

I saw another FIW book coming out but not until September 2014!It is in the Raid series called "Montcalm's Crushing Blow":French and Indian Raids along New York's Oswego River 1756.As Raid 27 "Tomahawk & Musket":French and Indian Raids in the Ohio Valley 1758 was very popular hopefully they will do more.St. Francis would be another good one.The raids on Deerfield and other settlements in 1704 would be another good one. Many possibilities in this series.
