Yesterday i placed my order for the new Tiger and Sherman,was just wondering how many of you out there have done the same.Have not seen a pic of Sherman yet, but am betting its going to be superb as usual.

awesome if you are where did you place order? I did not think it was out until end of October or have you pre ordered. Want this for my DD collection, desperate to get it.

We have posted information about the British Sherman (product code DD65) including a picture on the web site .King & Country UK British Sherman
I have from a number of you reservations for a vehicle….you know who you are….............................
If you would like one contact us (fax/email) so we can place it on back order and ship to you when they arrive, we need name, address, contact telephone number and email address. We will then contact you and collect payment when we have them ready to ship. If you place a secure on line order with us you will be charged immediatly as I can not change the system.
We anticipate the Sherman being with us end of October start of November.
The price on the site INCLUDES VAT this will be deducted for overseas/VAT exempt orders.......

Bob can my brother order more than one as he has some friends that want one each in NZ. Seams daft paying postage 5 times, can K&C UK send to one address (say my brother) and then he send it off to his friends. You have my details Bob.

Not to throw cold water on the British Sherman, but I was hoping for a something little different. This is just the US Sherman with British numbers and insignias and different soldiers. It's not even a repaint job for the most part. I'm seriously thinking now about passing on this.

Must be a 'Brit' thing. I think that there is more colour to it as well.

Bob I understand that you are taking pre-orders but are these just for collectors that want there tank in time for christmas. From an earlier post I was under the impression that there were 200 of these special editions headed to the states in the new year making a total of 700. Is this still the plan as far as the states allocation?
I look forward to hopefully meeting you at OTSN.

Brad i also see what you mean there hope Andy in his speed is just redoing old Moulds!!! but still have orderd today as just like the one my grandfather drove in DD. in fact i have ordered two and my bro in NZ wants 5 so i think they may go quickly

Monty and yourself are correct, there are a further 200 available in March 06, I am not sure how these will be sold as Andy is dealing with that.
Hey Monty drop me a line when you can, maybe I can put a 'real name and face together'.................maybe you could hook up with my Dad and Brother in Chicago at OTSN? I can not make it as some one has to stay and work!

Thanks for the reply and clarification Bob. Sorry to hear you can't make the show. There is no doubt these will be a quick sell-out. I just hope K&C and Andy do not go the road of Dragon and release "limited edition's" every other release if you know what I mean. Like Jazz quotes "not to pour cold water on the issue" but every vehicle could be made limited with just changing paint schemes and insignias and then marketing it to production runs of 500 or 1000. This Tiger looks to be a great piece and is what we as the board asked for or made suggestions for. I guess I'm just hoping that they are not an every month kind of deal. It's hard enough to get Andy to slow down and play catch up with all these new sets. Like the movie Andy's new production motto should be "Fast and Furious" because that's what it feels like since the last OTSN and seeing the Stug prototype. I'll be furnishing the new house with milk crates and using flags as curtains. Oh the college days!!!!

Bob has emailed with the cost of the British Sherman and crew. The price is 94.54 Pounds or approximately $173 for us on other side of the pond.

I do not know what the price would be for the 200 being made available stateside in March 2006 and whether this price is any different than the above. I assume not.
