Forthcoming Spitfire (1 Viewer)

I will certainly buying the Spitfire and Typhoon actually any new RAF.....you can hang your planes with fishing line ...monofiliment..they are hard to see .....plus they come in different strengths

The problem isn't whether the anchor in the ceiling or the lines are strong enough - the problem is the stress on the polystone model from it's weight hanging over time. On the ground, the fuselage will support the wings (we hope) but if the plane is hung by the wings, will they support the fuselage? I don't know the answer, but i bet we find out in several months as people suspend them. I suppose the fuselage and wings must be equally supported by mono line and checked for stretching and unequal loading every so often.

I think I'll try and squeeze in an airfield dio myself, not sure they would look right anyway with undercarriage down.
