I know there must be a button somewhere, but is there a way that I can alter my viewing of these threads so that the original post is on the first page instead of the last page?

I guess I can get used to checking going straight to the final page and then reading "backwards" through the pages as I read the responses, but I would love to standardize this interface with the other forums that I frequent.

Any help for the newb in your midst?

Thanks,
Drum

Drum,

You must have chosen some option to do it in reverse order because all threads are in chronological order.

I think I found the problem. Go to Quick Links and then choose Edit Options, then scroll down until you get to Thread Display Options. Under Thread Display Mode, make sure you check the option "Linear-Oldest First." I think that should take care of it.

Hmmm... well, I do not seem to have a "Thread Display Options" button under my "quick links" drop down. I did find "Thread Mode" which gave me a choice between "Linear", Hybrid and something else. Alas, no "Linear - Oldest first" choice. However, now I have changed it to "Hybrid" and at least it would appear to be chronological now.

Thanks very much for your help.

Cheers,
Drum

If you look at the green banner at the top the page, you should see it on the right.

Found it! Thanks... I had mentally skipped your instruction to click on "Edit options" in your first lesson.

That is much better. Thank you again.
