Hello Everyone,

glad to find this place. I was wondering if someone could help me out. I was wondering what figures are shown on the Treefrog photo gallery area, Frank J. Piatek number 5?

I recognize part of them, but I am unsure of the figures that are carrying the stretcher and the three on the examination/operation area.

Thank you for any help!!

Hi Bama
They appear to be Forward March Union Surgeon CW30003 and Litter Bearer CW30004 sets. This company was run by Richard Walker who is now in charge of Britains/First Gear and are out of production. Do you collect Civil War?

I actually just realized that I have the stretcher set...

Yes, I have been collecting ACW for about 18 years. I have had a diorama with about 700 figures on it, at one time. I had a little vacation from collecting for about 2 years when my 3rd child was born, (I had to store up my collection. We needed the room my diorama was in), but have come back. (Although I never truly, really went away)

I collect 54mm 1/32 range. I started out painting my own figures but now I mostly collect painted metals.

Jeremie,
A Big Welcome to the best forum on earth.! It is addicting, like collecting toy soldiers! How old is your third kid? Old enough to shuffle on 'em out of the room into, say, the shed ?:p Have Fun!

She is 2. My other two are boys, 12 and 10, so in our move, that just happen (although we are renting and will move again soon, I hope), we are planning some kind of inventive way to set things right!!!

We also reenact ACW so we are kinda split. But my wife is cool and understands my need to play with my toys!!! Although I do not consider them toys, they are sorta' like air, I really need them!!!

Mine are 10 and 8 (today is her birthday) and are more important than anything, except when one of my figures gets knocked over by a Wii controller:eek: Everything gets set right with time and focus! Welcome Again.

PS-2 year olds are allegeric to toy soldiers-keep away, far away!

First off WELCOME Bama Boy!:) Make sure to post some pics of your dio!:D

Mike, that is almost as worse as when I leave a diorama on the kitchen table and I come back to find a 50 cal barrel bent!  :( Unfortunatley, the culprit has not yet been found, but I have my list of suspects!:D ;) But I'll bet using your police skills helps when investegating who was the culprit who knocked the figure off with the Wii controller! ;)

Welcome Bama it's always good to get another civil war collector and southern boy to talk to. I live just north of you in Tennessee and collect ACW matte for dioramas.
