I will be attending this terrific show on Saturday sponsored by The Long Island Historical Miniature Collectors Society from 9:00am to 5:00pm.

I've got all the new NA sets from K & C as well as the new BBA sets, the HB field kitchen and the NMA Schwimmwagons ; I've also got the 2 foot by 2 foot strongpoint that was part of the SP series released around the time of the Stalingrad range. It is in an original K & C box and was factory sealed until I cracked it open to take a peek at it. I've only seen one of these in the flesh before and it is a beauty.

I will also be in Langhorne PA on Sunday from 9:00 to 3:00 for the toy soldier show held there at the Sheraton in Bucks County..............

George,

What's the address. I will try to make it to see you if nothing else.

Regards,

Louis

Louis,
It is located at the Freeport Recreational Facility in Freeport Long Island. If you need an exact address, let me know and I will try to dig it up for you................

Too bad I can't make it. My old stomping grounds -- I went to high school in Merrick, the next town over.

Must be costly too! :)

Nice article about you George in this months' Toy-Soldier Model Figure magazine. Hope all goes well at the shows. Busy weekend. Leadmen

Thanks for the kind words John. The folks at the magazine asked me a series of questions at OTSN and took a bunch of pictures, but didn't mention the article to me. Several customers told me about it and I got a chance to see it a couple of days ago. Nice of them to do that, the magazine is a first class outfit for sure............

Well, its 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning, and I am off to the show. See you in a bit George.

It was a nice little show. Did get to see George (Warrior), Matt Murphy and Carl Hoegemeyer. Also met a couple of new tri-state area enthusiasts, Bob Perricelli from New Jersey and Mike Vogell from Nesconset, NY. All in all a very pleasant way to spend a morning.

No old K&C to speak of by the time I got there. Before the show opened, Matt Murphy bought two of the WS25 Tigers (#131) and a bunch of fairly early loose DD (06-25) and WS (17-30) figures.

I've been on a hot streak lately. Did I tell you that my mother in law located the missing Iraq special forces diorama (which I had been using as a 8th Army North Africa Diorama) I had misplaced about a year ago?

That's a heck of a mother in law. How many relatives would even give a crap about our hobby, other than to roll their eyes?

She also helped me plan the layout for the the third floor. She really is terrific.

I hate to say it but I think we now know why you married your wife:D

It's the extras that count.
