The show promoter John Jeffries phoned me this morning to tell me the show that was scheduled for Saturday November 17th has been canceled.

FEMA has taken over the Freeport Recreational Facility, which is where the show is held and as a result, the show will not be held. The area has most of it's power back, but again, the center is not available for the club to use, no word on when FEMA will be leaving.

I had quite a few customers ask about this show with Hackensack being canceled, sorry for the bad news.

Hi, George, is that also where the Long Island figure show stages? I know they cancelled, too, and one of the posts I saw on PF or Timelines mentioned that one of the facilities was going to be used by FEMA?

Looks like Eddie Gries' PA show is the only one left, unless he's cancelling that, too. I've been meaning to call him to find out.

Prost!

The Freeport show is the Long Island Figure Show and yes, the facility where it is held is currently being used by FEMA, so the show is off..............

Ah, OK, thanks, George!

Gotta call Eddie and find out about his...
