French 5th Cuirassiers Pre-Order.... (1 Viewer)

This one has certainly been a long time coming. These figures, in one variant or another, have been shown on our website since we first launched it three years ago. As most of you know, we decided to release our Carabiniers first as no one had done them. And despite this, we got more questions than ever about when we'd release the Cuirassiers! Well, here they are finally. The total release of the 5th Cuirassiers is 9 figures including an officer, trumpeter, standard bearer, and six troopers, one of which is being thrown from his horse and another of which is dazed on the ground next to his downed horse. Like our Carabiniers, most of the horses stand on only one leg, at most two, the figures have photo etched copper straps, and photo etched sword blades. As for the 5th Cuirassiers, they participated in both Waterloo and Borodino among other battles and campaigns. At Borodino they charged the great redoubt in the center of the Russian line and we feel the figures capture this charge or the famous French Cavalry charge at Waterloo perfectly. These figures will be shipping to customers in early January 2011. We sincerely hope you enjoy them!

Just superb.
My favourite is NAP0249 the fallen Cuirassier.
It was a great idea to split the horse from the rider. It gives some options for display in a dio.
