I started collecting the French Indian War by John Jenkins when I saw the first stunning BM sets of the Battle of Monongahela and I have to say that I am not yet tired of this incredible period, short from the historical point of view but full of charm and involving events.

This is why I will never tire of hoping that other sets will be added to the collection from time to time, I have many characters and accessories that I'd like to be issued.
I always think about the John's great talent and how many requests and suggestions he has kindly accepted from the collectors, but I also imagine what he could still reserve for the FIWs enthusiasts.

I have already entered my wish list in this Forum and today I want to re-propose some sets that I would like to see in the coming months. I wish to support my list with some well known images.

a) one Drummer, one Flagbearer, one Officer for the wonderful Landing Barge;
b) also an Indian Scout for the same;
c) a new Blockhouse (and Stockade) and new Log Cabins;
d) more Civilians for both the sides, French and British: men and women in different jobs and housework poses;
e) more soldiers in camp life and new tents;
f) more French and British Artillery and Crew;
g) one French Artillery Limber;
h) more Indian warriors and squaws in camp life, dogs, kids and accessories;
i) a new Wigwam;
l) one 'huge' Canoe with Indian paddlers and sitting F or B soldiers;
m) ...or at least only the sitting soldiers for the exixsting Canoes...

......I am quite old and I'd like to see the above sets within a few years ....ha ha ha
cheers, thank you John
Carlo

Carlo,

I am with you on many of your requests. Number 1 from your list for me would be a huge canoe with several passengers!

JJ has done the huge British transport boat, many regular canoe sets and the whaleboat with Roger's Rangers in it. All of which I own.

I think a large canoe with 12 to 15 people in it would be no problem for JJ to make and I believe it would be just as popular with collectors as his previous boats & canoes.

Your list contains a lot of great ideas and hopefully John will take you up on them.

thank you Mark, I agree that a huge canoe would be a big success and a desirable addition to the series. I can't wait to see it!
I'm sure that would not be a problem for John to model such a beauty, he is able to create any (wonderful) thing: vehicles, figures, boats, buildings, weapons etc., he should only have three times the current time.
We trust in the near future!

there are four numbers not yet allocated in the 60th Royal American Series RRB60, these are 1, 2, 3 and 8, among them there will be an Officer and a Standard-bearer I presume.
And many others to be released after the number 16. Come on John, a couple of sets for Xmas???
Thank you

I believe that John sculpted some British casualties and climbing figures for Ticonderoga.....hopefully they will be released one day.
He is quite busy with Romans and Aztecs right now!

I would also like to add a few more 78th Highlanders to flesh out the couple that John did a while back.

How about some personality figures,William Johnson,Pontiac, Robert Rogers etc. The Rogers figure he made for Battle of Snowshoes was the worst figure he ever sculpted IMO. B5E55571-6358-4DB0-A276-8BB2203C1EC5.jpeg
