I would like to modestly put forward to the commitee of suggestive suggestions that we may consider in the fullness of time (wow when does this end?!)some figures from the French resistance.I think these heroic fighters deserve immortalizing in the time honoured fashion of K&C.Their sacrafice, bravery and determination no doubt tied down thousands of German troops who could have been elsewhere and kept the Nazi's looking over their shoulders.Thousands of the Resistance were tortured and excecuted and i think it would be a very fitting tribute to have them alongside our other troops fighting for liberation.

I am at the moement reading Ospreys new book 'French resistance fighter' from their Warrior series, and its very interesting indeed.:)

Allo' Allo Rob

Great Idea - ROB !

They would work very well in the Fields of Batttle Range. :D

Hey Guys,we could have some really interesting poses.Railway sabotage, fire fights and how many War films were there where the German guard was deaf and never heard the bloke coming up behind him with the knife!

James,'Yvette' from Allo Allo was lovely wasn't she,i wouldn't have put up much 'Resistance':D

Yes Yvette was my favourite too, narrowly beating Maria.

We knew someone at the BBC and we got tickets to go and see an episode filmed. But it was one of the very late episodes and to be honest it was well past its best, however it was very interesting.

Just finished my Osprey book, gave me a very good basic understanding of the organization and command structure of the ressistance groups. It also touched on the torture that both the men and women suffered:eek:.They REALLY loved their country!!

The question is as usual, which of these fabulous relaeses we have seen lately are we willing to do without to get this set?
Because you know Andy will tell us there's only so much he can put out at a time.

Hi Ray,i 've said this before so sorry for repeating myself. When i make these suggestions here in this thread i'm not really saying 'Andy will you make these'.I'm more imagining how good it would be to have them, sort of thing?.Andy couldn't possibly produce everything we talk about here and i would never want him to think everything i talk about i expect to be made,it would be absurd. If Andy picks up on anything said in this forum all well and good and if doesn't thats fine too.I'm just playing the old 'What if' game.

The two figures in the SL set would make great resistance fighters for a Dio. Just need a few more and maybe a Citroen car.

Or maybe some figures to go with a Lysander aircraft, perhaps the lifting out of an SOE operative in a night operation?.

Lysander and resistance fighters, as natural as ducks and water, I'm buying that one for sure!
