No..guys..i don't have some spy in K&C..only i've read in a former thread the quantity of work and programmation behind every realease, and how the K&C staff's work for the next 9 months begins let's say in this days..(maybe in january..they too are humans and have right to get some rest for christmas), so is not a stupid thing to think that this post could serve as inspiration for some new range..i reflected much and i realized that this colourful range misses from the toy soldier market ..i've found only a russian brand producing them at prohibitive cost..so why not the revolutionaries? The Sans Culottes?Marat in his Bath tub..Robespierre and his sunglasses..and then Louis XVI, Marie Antoinette....maybe i'm dreaming after seeing the Abel Gance's Napoleon..but i hope some up there at K&C considers this thread ..:)i can wait Christmas 2009..it's not too early ..

Hi..i don't know this brand..but nonetheless who said a range must be exclusive propriety of a Toy soldier company?I'd like to see some french "citoyen " made by K&C...let's evaluate the Pro & Cons of this range:
Pros
1-An historical period known and studied all around the world
2-Great Variety of characters , Monarchs, Jacobines , even Napoleon..
3-A civilian range and a military range...the Revolution was a political and military fact, so we can have politician lke Robespierre,Marat , Danton..and military leaders (at this moment i see in my mind General Custine...with his particular facial hairdo..)
4-The ragged but flamboyant appearance of the troops..the striped pantaloons, the phrygian cap, the bonnet de police..and the various weapons (let's say farmer tools..) , and the cavalry with the Mirliton (that sort of shako without peak..and with a tail..)
5-The civilian fashion (maybe it's just me, but i like the '700 fashion..obviously reproduced in soldiers , movies..etc.)
6-Some gruesome scenette could be supplied (there were many ..)
7-Many more...
Cons

1-maybe the cost of producing figurines that request a bit more attention in painting...i don't see many other motives to not produce this range..let me know:You 'd buy this range?
