Brilliantly executed George. Some of your photos look like they could be taken out of history books.

George

You have got quite a collection of Little guys.......They make for grand setups....Looks cool. Alex

Wow George you have out done yourself again!....Some real cool looking action Cav sets in there too guys falling of horses ect..
Nice to se the Austrians deployed they did a heck of a lot of fighting during the Napoleonic wars until Napoleon nocked them out of the ring {eek3}

Hi George. Very impressive battleground. In addition to the usual fantastically painted figures and the great sweeping action of the cavalry assaults, the village buildings catch my eye as being especially nice. Like the large grain fields, as well. I have always wondered about the Austrian choice of white as a field uniform. Quite apart from the obvious reason of visibility, how did they actually expect white to hold up and remain presentable in the field? I know many nations had parts of their uniforms in white, but those coats must have been a ral pain. -- Al

Thanks Alex, we've talked about the smaller scale and how you can do more in less space, thanks for the comments..............

Thanks for the comments Ragnar, I like the Art Miniaturen figures, very dramatic, more for dioramas than wargaming and you are right, the Austrians were heavily involved in the Napoleonic War......

Thanks Al, David from TM Terrain made the village for me, he does great work as you can see.........not sure about the Austrian uniform color either, but they had some pretty exotic uniforms too, their jagers and militia specifically as well as their cavalry.............

Hi George,

I had been wondering what you had been up to lately, as to be expected another fantastic display! :smile2:

I really like the Austrian uniforms and as you say some of them are really exotic too. The Jagers used one of the very first design of air rifles apparently...{eek3}

That village is something else.......^&cool
