I got these from the last OTSA auction and am so glad I did. This whole "Set" is comprised of the following:

Russian Preobrashenski Reg., Marching (four sets)
Russian Preobrashenski Reg., Officer and NCO
Russian Preobrashenski Reg., Standard Party
Russian Preobrashenski Reg., Band

I am becoming a huge fan of big gatherings of soldiers!
Enjoy

those are Frontline...

if they are...

that's probably the prettiest set they have ever produced...

Fantastic looking set; hadn't known that Frontline made a Russian themed set. I see you've become a fan of bands. If you have the room, you might want to take a look at Beau Geste. They have some fantastic sets.

These are from Frontline's glossy Parade Dress, 1914 series which was produced about 20 years ago. Typically, they produced five different sets for each country represented. For example, you have sets PD6 marching, PDS6 standard party, PDB6 band, PDO6 officer & NCO, and PDBS6 band and color party (22 pieces), or some combination of them. They also produced American Marines, Austrian Hoch and Deutschmeister Regiment, British 60th Royal American Regiment, French Foreign Legion, German Grossherzolglich-Mecklemberg Regiment, Russian Preobrashenski Regiment, Scots Guards Regiment, Cameronians, King's Own Scottish Borders, Highland Light Infantry, Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders, and Black Watch Highlanders. The only mounted Parade Dress figures were four sets of Russian Cossacks in red jackets and blue trousers: PDC6, PDBC6, PDCO6, and PDCS6.

Frontline also produced glossy Russian sets from the Crimean War. From the Thin Red Line series, they made seven or eight figures each of the Ingermandski Hussars, First Ural Cossacks, and Kievski Hussars. From the Charge of the Light Brigade series, two sets of Don Cossack Horse Artillery defending their guns and a set of the 12th Horse Artillery firing their gun. In addition, they made five sets of the 24th Dneprovski Infantry Regiment, grenadier company.

Nice set! I'm also a fan of this Frontline Ceremonial series CA 1914. Have several of them, but not this one.
