One thing I would like to see is a fuhrer bunker complex - above and below ground. Figarti is probably the only company that could pull it off. Maybe it could come in sections that would be assembled. Three possible figure sets: (1) Hitler's birthday (April 20, 1945) with all the Nazi dignitaries assembled for the last time; (2) Hitler awarding the iron cross to Hitler Youth in one of his last appearances; and/or (3) Hitler's death - maybe depicting the removal of Hitler from the bunker.

Interesting idea. I wonder what the overall size would be? Would make for some great scenes though.

Perhaps Figarti can make this a joint venture, like they did with the tent

It could be limited to include Hitler and Eva Braun's section of the bunker which contained the small conference room and central hallway. That would cover the important events and be a manageable size. Above ground you could have the emergency exit and that weird ventilation tower. Just a thought. ;)

Interesting thread,

I have a plan to try to develop a bunker, still in my mind. I already start to built my Reich chancellery but still a lot of work to do, special in the inside part of the chancellery. My big problem would be space I even think to put under the table to really represent an underground bunker.

Here a few old pictures of the Hitler's Reich Chancellery façade.

Cheers.

everytime i see this dio i shudder at the realism.

this should have appeared in the K&C booklet.

It does look impressive in the B&W grain look.
I really like your work.
But I would like to see it in full color without any fancy photo editing.

Nick;)

Hello Nick, thanks for the comment.

Unfortunately a few months ago, when I was cleaned up my desktop I deleted, by mistake all my old pictures… that include the Chancellery building photos. But, I was able to save few without almost any effects. Today I already built some buildings in front of the Chancellery so I am lo longer able to take a nice overall photograph….:(

Here are the 2 pics I was able to save.

Cheers.

Great craftsmanship.
Sorry to hear about the deleted originals.
After I photo a building I make a duplicate and store it away on a CD or external hard drive.
Have you ever thought about doing something like that?
It's a life saver.:)

After that, I started save every project I do in a CD and in my USB key.

Cheers

Sorry to hear that Rod. I went through a hard drive crash myself in Dec. and know how it feels. It's a shame to hear a little bit of your art has been lost - your work deserves to be archived somewhere.

I saw that movie. Netflix has it.

I was looking at plans of the bunker and a miniature 1:32 or 1:30 scale would be too huge to make. I bet it can fit on a 4'x8' sheet of plywood easy. I haven't broken down the scale yet. I'm just guessing. :D
