Guys,

This is what a Figarti tank looks like underneath. Yes, exposed and as you know "The FULL MONTY"!

wow, whens the release date rick, and what camo is this? i want to preorder already. very impressed with the side hatches. :D

These Figarti tanks certainly have a high degree of Design and Engineering skills built in. If I collected tanks this is the way I would go.

Superb!

Looks very promising Rick.

It will come down to paint and finishing for me. I like the brown you used on the the K-5. Looks like a good thinned/faded variant of RAL 8017.

A winter version with whitewash over the three color base paint would be very useful.

I'm looking forward to seeing the finished versions. I'm interested in both summer and winter variants.

Here is a picture of a 1/35 Panzer IV Ausf.J with great looking whitewash. The snow tracks are pretty sweet too. ;)

Hi Nasir,

I see what you are saying regarding the shape and size of the muzzle brake. The question really becomes did the Panzer IV use more than one type of muzzle brake? There was clearly a change between the ball style single baffle brake fitted to the original long barreled Panzer Iv Ausf.F2s and later models. Do you know which models you have posted?

In April 1943, the KwK 40 L/43 was replaced by the longer 75-millimetre (2.95 in) KwK 40 L/48 gun, with a redesigned multi-baffle muzzle brake with improved recoil efficiency.

Here are some different models to compare:

To me it looks like there was a change between G and H which corresponds with the April '43 gun change.

Thanks for the pics. I really like what I am seeing now.

Thanks for posting these Frank.Always interesting to see pics like these for reference.
