Hey guys I was just wondering what types of Redcoats people wanted to see made in the near future?

Here's some from my wish list:

29th Foot Marching Officer (1768)
29th Foot Marching King Colour (1768)
29th Foot Marching Regimental Colour (1768)
29th Foot marching Fifer (1768)
Queens Own Highlander (Seaforth & Cameron) Marching (1961)
1st Royal Scots at Attention (early 1900's)
29th Worcester Regiment Marching with Bren Gun (1940's)
42nd Black Watch Highlander Marching Kings Colour (1882)
42nd Black Watch Highlander Marching Regimental Colour (1882)
42nd Black Watch Piper Marching (1882)
42nd Black Watch Drummer Marching (1882)

The last four would be great to go with the collectors club marching 42nd figure released a few years ago!

You never know someone from Britains might like some of our ideas?

Cavalry. 18th century cavalry. A good start would be Scots Greys circa 1756, or even better, either a King's Dragoon Guard or King's Dragoon. The latter two have seldom appeared in any form. A 15th Light Dragoon would be nice, too.

Prost!

Brad totally agree! We need to see lots more cavalry in the Redcoats line & I'm all for 18th century stuff Scots Greys would be great & I'd buy them!

Ahh yes good idea Sandor! I had forgoten about the Rifle Brigade would love a Napoleonic era band for the 95th Rifles similar to the band they did for the coldstream guards! I really did like having a big band to collect like that one the latest limited editions haven't been as big!

WOW! I had not even THOUGHT of the 95th BAND idea! Now THAT would be something to see...imagine that band, plus the Coldstream one, plus the Christmas sets as a background! Now that would be a sight!

Lol I thought you might like that idea mate, I had thought about it before but had forgoten to mention it until you reminded me about the rifles! Maybe they could do a Kings Troop Royal Horse Artilley Gun Team for the Napoleonic era as well? Now that would be a good sceen to set up!

Craig

While we are on about limited edition sets how about a Scots Dragoon Guards Pipes & Drums band to go with the newest limited editions? That would be a great addition.

My Mom is going to kill you Craig:cool:. But really, shouldn't we do a troop of lifeguards as well? And what about more civilians? How 'bout some Chelsea Pensioners, or a wounded veteran begging for money from a kindly gentleman?

Haha I'm more worried about my bank balance then your mom Sandor! If we even got half of what I'm asking for I think I'd need a second job to pay for it all!!! Lol I like the chelsea pentioners idea & I'm always up for seeing some civilions made in glossy form, I like the idea of mounted Lifeguards but if I had to choose I'd probably go for Horseguard always liked them more!!! & I know what you will say to that "why not make both" lol

I actually agree with the horseguards idea. While we're at it, Why don't we get a full facade of Horseguards as a background? But yeah, even for the 95th band, I think I would need to become a dealer of addictive and costly drugs- also known as toy soldiers- in order to pay for it all{sm4}.

I know what you mean mate I've though about it a few times over the years as I enjoy helping my friend Patrick fom British Toy Soldier at the Christmas Show in London! Maybe becoming a dealer is the way forward lol sure would help my addiction! As for a full Horseguards facade I'd be all over it! Might be a bit expensive though?

LOL{sm4}, I was joking about the facade (though it would be nice, try this: http://www.mklmodels.co.uk/wb00123-building-backscene-4-pieces-4977-p.asp ). I was also attempting a joke about how I would have to become a drug dealer to pay for all this stuff, though toy soldiers count as a drug. I have actually thought about becoming a dealer when I retire, as it could be a nice way to earn an extra buck (but that's around 60-70 years away).

Lol I know you was joking about the dealer thing!!! It would be nice to be able to work with something I'm interested in tho & being a dealer would do that!
