I do not have any Del Pardo figures at this time, so I am a novice on this manufacturer.

I am intrigued however with a new figure that I just saw on TFT – it was FWE039 the Blacksmith. I was wondering if he might fit with JJD’s blacksmith from the Raid on St Francis and with the JG Blacksmith shop? From the pictures he looks fantastic.

Any advice or thoughts from the experts!!!!

errr, sorry, try this:-

To answer your original question, though, Larry, I don't think this quite fits with the Raid on St Francis. I'm not sure the long pants he wears are accurate for 1759. Maybe this bump will get some additional responses.

Prost!

I have him- and have him in stock- nice figure- to me he is timeless. as far back as you can trace his tools anyway. I dont think it would be rare to see someone wearing leather breeches in a foundry or smithing shop. These men were crafters, and would invent something to keep them protected.

Sorry Larry, don't have but would like! There is something very "real" about this one, you can almost smell the sweat!

Speaking of Blacksmiths, I picked up the one in the middle today (actually I think he is a Farrier). Anyone know anything about this one? No marks of course, 54mm scale hollow lead.

Larry...I don't see why he can't work with JJD...they had white shirts in 1755...long pants in 1755 and probably aprons in 1755...the tools are timeless...in my opinion...so is the figure...I wouldn't hesitate to put him next to the JJD blacksmith...

I saw a blacksmith's forge by barzso that would go good with him I hope to add both together to make a diorama

I don't have either figure, but both are on my list. While the trousers are not technically correct, there is always a chance.... So I think we would look nice.
