Designers considered using composite photos of 20 Medal of Honor winners but then decided instead on a young good looking American man. Me??^&grin{sm3}{sm4} No way.{sm0} The sculptor of the face Mr. Phillip Krackowski sculpted the face and added the famous "scar". Some say the face resembles John F. Kennedy. J

Thanks Johnnybach. I agree and had come across the article earlier. I didn't realize the first "G I Joe" was a Marine but should have known that and that "G I" stands for "Government Issue". Tommy
