I just checked Scott and you're right on the money. I found one site that had them for $425 but are sold out. Even at this site, http://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/ari/ari21510.htm?source=froogle, they're not in stock and not sure when they're going to be getting in them. Beautiful train however.

Be nice if you could buy it without the motor as it would be for a staic display and also maybe keep the costs down a bit.

I ended up getting the loco on eBay for around $300. I paid a few dollars for three track pieces, 5 ft total, $20 for each box car and $40 I believe for the train station. All on eBay. It wasn't that expensive.
