I'm looking forward to this series also. Season 1 was very good and stayed relatively close to the book. Important new characters should be introduced this year adding to the story line.

I am very excited for this! I read all the books after seeing the first season, and I have been left with hoping for preview chapters of the next book on Martin's website since finishing A Dance with Dragons. Thanks to this series though I have something to partially placate my impatience for The Winds of Winter. Hopefully Martin will get about to finishing it sometime before the Apocalypse!
