I asked Gary(gk5717) at OTSN if I could post some of his pictures he sent me. I'm finally getting around to it. Very impressive.

Gary had sent me some photos about a year ago and it is pretty impressive.

However, we want to see yours Alex. We know you must have some special goodies ;)

Very impressive indeed. I'm sure it gives Gary that nervous feeling when the Grandchildren are visiting.
That prized winter sherman sure does stand out. Very nice collection.

Very nice collection Gary.

Can't help but notice that on the first photo, 3rd unit from the left, bottom shelf, you have some space!

What are you waiting for! It neeeeeds filling!:D

Very nice Gary. I just hope you don't live in earthquake country.

Nice collection Gary, so nice and orderly too. Do you have much room for growth?

Nice displays Gary. Looks well organized, I need to re-organize my stuff. They look like a disorganized mob from Romans to modern. Leadmen

Give me a few months. The carpentar is coming tomorrow to finish up the built-in. Problem is everytime I get some money I spend it on toy soldiers instead of the built-in display. :D

Guys, thanks for the compliments!
Actually those pictures are old, I,ve added a few more tables for more displays, but alas I now am out of room for expanding.
If I could only convince my wife to use our spare bedroom as nothing but a toy soldier room but that won,t happen.
I really think the fun of this hobby is having everything out and on display, and not sitting in boxes.

I think I can sense a new business venture for Treefrog Treasures - treefrog Tresures Carpentry Service. We'll sell you the soldiers and then build your new addition to house them. Now if Mark at Build-A-Rama could just make those buildings a little closer to 1:1 scale ....

I could be on to something ..... ;)

Gary,

I certainly agree with all the warm compliments people have forwarded to you regarding your collection. In addition, I want to compliment you on the manner in which you have presented your collection to the viewer. Your figures/vehicles are obviously displayed with great care and thought. Your shelves are full, but not so crowded that they cause confusion for the viewer. I think you have done a splendid job of presenting your collection!

As a point of interest, I was in St. Louis last summer and I considered calling you to ask (beg) you if I might pay you a short visit to see your collection. However, a summer storm blew through and did great damage to the city's electrical system. Since much of St. Louis was without electricity, I decided it was not a good time to make such a contact. The pictures of your collection make me wish I could see your collection up close and personal!

Happy holidays to you and yours!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat

Gary, a great set of photos! Nice to see your stuff. Next time I customize some figures I'll have to deliver them in person!

Gary B.

Gary, I hope that it isn,t in the too distant future now that Conte has released his figures.
