Love this series of John's. As I sit at the computer and await my leaping Celtic Warrior AER-12B to arrive, I wonder what we might see in the future in this great range of figures. My wish list would include a War Chariot, Celtic cavalry and Republican Roman Legionaries. Conveniently all illustrated here by Angus McBride. - Anybody else have some thoughts on what they would like John to create for this colorful series?

We know that John has sculpted a bunch of Celts and I believe he will be making Republican Romans.
When John visits the US in May we hope to get some updates.

Well top of my list would be Boudicca - in the guise below:

(I'd also love some character figures from the "Brittania" series - (as First Legion did with their Vikings)
Not much chance of that though........ I'd probably be the only one to buy them going by the Naff reviews and general lack of interest shown in it - well I liked it ^&grin

I'd like to see Caracatacus figure made.
A figure of Boudicca in the pose of your picture was released by Del Prado, though could of been sculpted better.

Thanks for the info on the Del Prado Boudicca Steve :salute::

I have just noticed a new release of Boudicca by Kronprinz......... looks to be the same figure as the Del Prado but with different shield design.

Hi Roy

It was Emilio of Kronprinz who sculptured the Del Prado version.
Thanks for the heads up, I've just taken a look at his new version and it certainly is an improvement, especially the face on the Del Prado one which of course was mass produced for a set price, I like the blazon on the shield and I may well order this Boudicca myself in the future, since my own Del Prado one became a subject for conversion due to the lack of female figures especially for the ancient world !
