Gaz de nuit sounds very strange in French (could suggest something completely different ) anyway ,I am working on a dio with the same figures , I have no title yet. Is there more French infantry coming ? I hope to know before I start putting the figures in the scene . Hopefully I will finish this before the summer holidays.
PS: ( Gaz au clair de lune is a better title)

Guy,
I just went with what google said was French for 'Night Gas' but somehow I knew you would come up something better, now what does 'Gaz au clair de lune' mean mate.

Well my friend it is a more romantic title for the same scene: it means "gas in the moonlight "

Night Gas - now that is hilarious!

If you were trying to say something like gas attack at night, a possibility could have been attaque au gaz dans le nuit.

Brad

My favourite is the bright photo like they are illuminated by a flare while on a patrol in no man's land.

As for gaz de nuit, it's what you don't want your wife to hear or smell in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning. ^&grin

French can be easy. Just add a few words to make a simple English description long and complicated {sm3}

Gas attack at night becomes l'attaque au gaz toxique dans la nuit
