I have the same unpainted figure from Conte. Actually, it seems to be in three basic colors. Did you prime yours, or paint it as is?

Yes, you are quite right, this mounted figure comes block painted as figure in blue, horse in brown and base green. These were the variants produced for sale in the playsets. I still spray them in my usual grey acrylic primer before painting.
