Wayne; the M3A1 is made by Kaden model # 626 1/24 scale. The model is made of Tin plate Steel and has opening hood and doors, rubber wheels and engine. I bought it on Ebay from a seller in the Czech Republic. The same product line includes several Halftracks, a Jeep, Kubelwagen and Schwimmenwagen. Several companies have produced the line; Hindricks, Kaden and Gonio.
The Patton figure is by TCS and stands 67mm tall without its removable base. I have looked at and posted a number of WWII photos of troops with vehicles to show the range of heights compatable. I find that the larger figures from K&C and TCS 66-68mm tall look realistic with 1/25 & 1/24 vehicles. Wayne has posted numerious photos of K&C figures with 1/24 vintage cars and they look very realistic IMHO. T would not try to mix vehicles 1/30 & 1/28 with 1/24 the size difference would be obvious. The figures work well because adult human males vary in height from 64 inches to 76 inches. 66 to 70mm figures will fall in that range.

Thanks Wayne! The Tintoy vehicles are very nice; even the uderside has detailed drive shaft, transmission etc. Plus you do not have to worry about the figure being too large for the vehicle!
Tom; they are still available on Ebay. The M3 was offered in a weathered version. The detail is quite good and the accessory pack that comes with them has Jerrycans, Shovels etc. The TCS Patton figure deserves a good ride!
