Okay I bought a nice old Arnhem set back on July 9th paid for it within moments (why?? I Dont Know):D

Heres my problem it left Canada on July 15th..............and it has not yet
arrived in the US:confused::confused:

Could anyone tell me where Canada is located:confused:

I always thought it was ahhhhhhh right above the US:confused:

I thought if you walked out of Canada heading south you immediately

entered the US:confused:

Soooooooo if something left Canada on July 15 heading into the US how come 10 days later it hasn't arrived:confused::confused:

Any help with the Geography would be appreciated:eek:

And yes it is insured, and yes we have a tracking number......still lost:eek:

Was it shipped from Western or Eastern Canada ? Makes a difference since all western Canada shipments to the southern US go via the Saint Lawrence Seaway and through Nova Scotia:):)

Thats because I intercepted it at the Windsor/Detroit border. It's a lovely set John looks great in my cabinet and is my first K&C set also :D

All joking aside I usually have to wait 2 weeks to receive a parcel from the States yet I can have a parcel from the UK (quite often I might add) within a week. I think the US customs are just more strict ??? I wouldn't panic just yet.

US customs strict , heck they are paraniod..................If their x rays show little guns, they might quarantine

Hi its shipping from Keswick, Ontario shipping Canadian Post Expedited Parcel
cost me $18........I certainly hope its not coming by boat down the St L
Seaway:eek::eek:

It could be here in a couple hrs by air:eek:

Louis & Clark could have gotten it here quicker if they tossed it the back

of their canoe next to Sack-of-old-chewies:D

I guess I got spoiled, a couple of weeks ago I bought two great items from
a nice fellow in Hong Kong. I watched them make there way here (via tracking number) in record time 6 days. Both made it through LA customs in a
matter of hours.

Perhaps I was just lucky

Ulp......lets not even think quarantine.......of course we do have CSA security agents on duty. Now part of the largest employer in the US......the
federal government.

Our CSA agents are among the most respected, highest trained, physically
unfit group of government employees with a 5th grade or lower education,
currently earning $38,000 a year with a 20 year and out pension......that do next to nothing (except sit and eat twinkys) in the world:D:D

So why worry:eek:

Sorry to hear that. I once ordered a product from Canada, $750, and after 5 months of: we shipped it should be there, can't find the tracking number, sorry wrong tracking number, it never showed up. I reported said supplier to my credit card company as a possible CC fraud case and they credited my account back the $750. I called the supplier back and told apprised them as to my actions and what do you know 4 days later the item showed up:rolleyes:.

I don't think it's a Canadian thing though just misfortune to have a TS collector working customs this month:D. Hope it shows up or you may have call some back-up:eek:.

Yo Troopers, just had the same problem from Holland to Ireland, bought a DVD, a month back, never arrived so put a claim in on Wednesday, the seller responded right away he sounds an ok guy, and Paypal refund me on Friday today from there insurance, two days could not believe it. But had problems with Holland before bought two books from there, and it took over three weeks to deliver them on both occasions, I always thought Holland was next to Germany they must have moved it somewhere else lol, got a parcel from the US last week took 3 days, doesn't make sense.
Bernard.

If CSA is like TSA ( those lovely folks that grope you in airports) you are in trouble. They will likely melt the figures down looking for drugs or weapons of mass destruction - oh, they already have the twinkees.

Sounds like the TSA "lady" - Wider than tall. kept poking me with her detecto prod and mumbling something about "Ve hav our vays". Next time I will walk rather than fly. You sure CSA/TSA requires 5th grade education or can you substitute weight for education ?

Your troops are lost..........................Bertha the customs inspector has them and the price to get them is beyond belief, especially since she found out they were made in gol durn red china..............................

Your tax dollars at work, making you safer wheather you like it or not................

I'll keep you posted.......maybe they will show up tomorrow:rolleyes:

With that thought in mind, I'm going to buy a lottery ticket:D

John sorry to hear of your delay but it's true.Parcels coming from Canada always take 10-14 days to reach me and that's not being delayed in customs. If it is in US customs good luck. Some supervisor is probably displaying them on his desk....:D
