Who’s Germany worried about with Russia stalemated in Ukraine and it surrounded by NATO allies? Seems the tanks do the most good keeping Russia tied up in Ukraine.

As a matter of fact, the General is correct but the state of the German military predates Ukraine. Since the Russians have invaded Ukraine the German PM Scholz has ordered that the German military be significantly upgraded.

The US has paid for the defense of Europe for 70 years and counting. So maybe it's time for them to step up.
