I'm pleasantly surprised of the ready response of Andy on the "Blondi" issue..but i wanna point other "errors"..maybe it could help to correct them , i'm talking about the new WWI german gun and its servants..the spike is incorrect ..a ball was in lieu of the spike for the artillerymen.

Does anyone know if the new KC late war German gun and crew will go well with ONWTC's late war figures? How about the early war gun and crew mixing with Britains early WW1 figures? -- lancer

Hi General Custer , i'm referring to the early war servants..nothing to say about the late war gun and servants..i note you have the beautiful Artillery Officer with the binocular and the helmet with the ball , but the servants of the early war gun have the spike which is incorrect..

Hi Lancer,
In response to your note and that of cantinetozzo, the new WW1 artillery sets rolled out by King & Country are great, but when you put them side by side with Britains the difference in scale jumps to your eyes.
That is because Britains are of a smaller scale.....but nothing that kills too much on a display.
As to Cantinelozzo comment, K&C actually did make a big mistake by releasing the artillery set for the early part of the War with spiked helmets and not the correct balled helmets as the officer. Now if you use the late war verdion, with the cammouflaged gun, then their is no problem since by then the new version German helmet was the same for every one.....but then you cannot use the earlier part of the war Artillery officer since he will be out of place/period...stick to the officer with the cap and the mauser pistol that the set will look more " historically correct".
If you like artillery check my social group on the subject and join if you wish...do not forget to add some of your own artillery pics to the album, it is always very nice to see new add on.....
Regards,
Artillery Crazy

Thanks for the response AC. The scale issue is what I feared. I am already committed to Britains (early war) and ONWTC (late war) and while I do not mind mixing manufacturers, I will not mix scale. Still, I like that late war KC 7.7 and I might get it as a stand alone. -- lancer
