question for Mr. Neilson or any of the experts, there was talk of a bunker w/ 4 figures awhile back,i know with the tons of fantasic items coming down the pipe, not in the near future, but are there still plans for the piece

I know this has been suggested a few times, but I don't recall Andy ever confirming that it would be done. Hopefully, some more Berlin stuff will be coming shortly though!

Don't know either. I remember him talking about this last year too.

Was not WS76 a skipped number in the Waffen SS series that was thought to be the bunker?

I also remember Andy discussing this Bunker and the men to go in it, but I thought it was for the D-Day summer Waffen SS stuff. I think he mentioned it in Chicago last year, or maybe on the forum at some point.

Hi Guys,

Re the “missing” German Bunker...we’ve still got it. It’s not gone into full production because it weighs a ton!

At this time we’re seeking out a new factory who can make it lighter whilst not sacrificing any of the quality of detail. Watch this space!

Best wishes and...happy collecting!

Andy C.

O man it must be pretty big, any pics?

Since we're on the topic of German bunkers take a look through this forum site. Tons of information on fortification. bunkers, flak, artillery postions and anything related to WW2 Axis. A great site, you can spends hours on it.

Combat, or anyone else interested heres a couple pretty good sites on Berlin

Third Reich in Ruins http://www.thirdreichruins.com/berlin.htm

Berlin Air-raid Shelters, Flak Towers and Bunkers

http://www.geocities.com/lupinpooter/berlin.htm

Each site has tons of links to other great sites, enjoy

oh,and those links are awesome, terrible that they are destroying all that history

Those links are great - especially Berlin - I have never been to Berlin. I have visited much of Germany - but, never Berlin. Thanks. :D

It would be great to see Gordon do at least one Brandenburg Gate for the Berlin series. I know its big, but come on what a display piece for the Chicago show!

Combat,

You're alright, heck you want more Eastern Front and I want more Pacific Theater. It's truly a labor of love but it sometimes feels more like we’re swimming up stream.

Maybe someday the rest of the collector's field have enough interest to make it commercially viable to justify their production.

Here's to hoping for that eventuality.
